The great Sonora Desert in northern Mexico is the land of the largest antlered Mule Deer in the Americas. The rich desert rolls toward the horizon, whiskered with towering saguaro cactus, barrel cactus, pitalla cactus, ironwood, palo verde and mesquite. With such diverse flora, it's not hard to imagine how our muleys (and many other wild animals) flourish in the arid Southwest.
The annual rainfall ranges from 4" to 8", and the temperature ranges from 30 to 120 degrees Fahrenheit, providing the perfect habitat for Mule Deer.

As soon as the hunter arrives at the Hermosillo airport, he is met by an English-speaking guide to help through customs. With proper preparation, Mexican customs are a breeze. From there, it is a short, one-hour drive to the hunting ranch.
The camp is best suited to four hunters hunting five full days. The package includes 1 x 1 guides, accommodation (ranch house with full, but rustic, facilities), all meals, ground transportation to and from Hermosillo and hunting areas, beer, soft drinks, horses (when needed) and field care of your trophy. If you like Mexican food, you're going to love our kitchen.
Hunters wake up at 5:00 am, enjoy a full breakfast, then spend the rest of the day in the field (minus a little siesta time.) Your native guide will carry all you need for the day: water, lunch, binoculars, etc.. Returning at dusk, you'll enjoy a hot shower, a delicious dinner and beer around the fire pit.
